Change

Lee's been going into work earlier.  I love it, but not everyone is a fan.  This was the second morning in a row Nye crawled into our bed and Lee wasn't there.

New discovery

We've recently discovered Taratabong: World of the Meloditties.

It's sort of brilliant if you want your kids to learn about musical instruments and don't mind watching some TV.  My kids have been running around all week pretending to be various musical instruments.  Nye is usually Snary (the blue snare drum) and Lizzy is Drumba (the pink "mommy").  But it's always surprising to listen in on their play and hear things like, "'Lizzy, lizzy, I'm grand piano!'  'Ok Nye, I'll be pianolini, no, no, I'll be a harp!'"

WARNING: Lots of Potty Talk

Sometimes all you can do is grab the camera and try not to shake too hard while laughing quietly.  You'll see I have lots of those moments.

Washing in the Sun

The sun peeked out a few weeks ago and we promptly got out the water.  It was a lovely, if very wet, day.  I really do have good help!

The only downside, Nye had to change clothes three times due to friendly fire from the enthusiastic cleaner.

Playing Pooh Sticks in the Park

Lizzy's comment upon seeing me post this:  "Yeah, I remember Pooh Sticks.  I kept winning."

It's true....

Unconditional love

Unconditional love takes many forms.  Sometimes it means accepting people for who they are and not asking them to change.  Sometimes it means doing your grocery shopping while your 2 year old proudly wears his new underwear... on his head.
