Awwww......

I have no words for the sweetness of this video.  It's like they were trying to charm me.  Lizzy kept practicing her memory verse until Nye decided to climb up act it out.

Eye appointment

An eye appointment for me turned into a fantastic dress up game for them. 

Competitiveness runs in the family...

Instead of saying, "I'm done," Nye tells me, "I win, Mommy, I win," even when he's the last person done.

Lizzy mutters under her breath, "I won first..."

Handiwork

Lizzy begs me to color with her often. "please with ice cream sprinkles!"

Today while coloring, I asked her what her favorite medium to color with was.  Crayons, markers, pencils, paint, ect.

Her response, "Markers are my best."

Why's that?

Lizzy very seriously said, "because it gets all over your hands and makes really beautiful skin."

I asked to take a picture and she said I could if I shared it with someone.   :-)

Frustrated: When you know your right, but you don't have the words to logically prove it

Lee was hitting Lizzy on the head with a ballon (gently of course...sort of :) ) and singing "Fee Fi Fo Fum, I'm hitting Lizzy on the head!"

Lizzy:  "Daddy, stop! God doesn't say that you can say that."

Lee:  "What does God say?"

Lizzy: "God says, 'Don't worship idols, don't steal, honor your mommy and daddy...."

Lee interrupting:  "Yeah, but he doesn't say don't hit people on the head, so I can do that, right?

Lizzy, indignantly: "NO! God doesn't say that."

Lee:  "I know, God doesn't say that, so I can."

Lizzy:  "NOOOOOOOO....Daddy!"

Lee:  "But he does say be nice, so I guess I should stop hitting you on the head."

Lizzy was pacified and they commenced a 15 minute game of keep the ballon off the ground and bounce on the couch.  All ended well. :)
